			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The Wall Street Journal says Jonathan Blow invested $180k of his own money into making Braid over a three year period. It&#8217;s a damn good game, it&#8217;s <em>very</em> indie, it&#8217;s totally worth the $15 asking price, and I&#8217;m left begging for more&#8230;but $180,000 dollars? Does that even still qualify as an indie game? I mean, obviously it does by definition, but that&#8217;s an insane amount of cash to unload out of pocket. Hopefully he&#8217;ll make enough back, but there&#8217;s no way he could have expected to profit off a budget like that from a niche XBLA game.</p>
