Overview
Interfaced is a puzzle-platforming game that challenges players to rethink the way they interact with traditional video game UIs. The interface elements live and interact with the game world rather than just displaying information about it. Players will ride their stamina bars to new heights and shake up the level design with their mini maps on the way to reaching the end of the game.

Notes
This game was created as a group project for LCC 4725 at Georgia Tech, taught by Celia Pearce. I worked on gameplay design and art, and made the website for our IGF submission. This was the first time a game has been submitted from Georgia Tech, and my second IGF submission after Audiball.

Walkthrough
Stuck? Here are the solution to the first few levels to get you started:

  • Level 1: Walk around to lower your stamina bar and jump over it to reach the exit.
  • Level 2: Lower your stamina bar, jump on top of it, and wait for it to refill. Then jump to the exit on the platform to the right.
  • Level 3: Open your inventory by clicking on the INV button. Drag your inventory box over the wall. Jump into your inventory and navigate across it to move past the wall.
  • Level 4: Lower your mini map and jump up to hit it. A block will fall. Walk across the block to the exit.
  • Level 5: Position your inventory on the long platform above. Position your Stamina bar below the mini map. Ride the Stamina bar into the inventory. Climb the inventory above the wall and exit the inventory. Jump against the mini map to open the exit. Use the inventory to get below the platform and head to the exit.
  • Level 6: Lower the mini map and jump up to hit it. A few stalactites will fall. When the stalactite is level with the character press the pause button to stop the stalactite. Jump across the platforms to the exit.
  • Level 7: Lower the mini map and jump up to hit it. A stalactite will fall. When the stalactite is level with the character press the pause button to stop the stalactite. Position the inventory between the character and the stalactite. Enter the inventory and exit onto the stalactite. Position the inventory between the stalactite and the exit . Enter the inventory and exit onto the game exit.
